Announcements for Week Nine, 3/23/2011 World Water Day: 3/22 called by the United Nations. It acknowledges the importance of water. This year’s theme: Looking at water in the urban area. Some reporting on the World Water Conference in Pt. Reyes held last weekend. Peter Glick on the importance of drinking tap water. He was on a panel with 3 poets looking at the issues of water and having them address these issues through poetry and science. Readings by Robert Haas and Michael Andagi, thoughts and meditations. A home conducted workshop on “Women & Toolz” is being held in Santa Rosa. Jessie from Americorps is leading this.
