I went to see Queen of the Sun on Tuesday night at the Mill Valley Film Festival. It was very educational regarding the plight of the honey bee. I also got to meet the director and eat yummy food at an after party at Whole Foods (see picture below).
The film is directed by Taggart Siegel, the director of The Real Dirt on Farmer John, which is a documentary I love for it's quirky eccentricity, and organic vs. conventional farming focus.
Queen of the Sun is sold out for tomorrow (WED) night but you might be able to get tickets via the RUSH Line if you show up an hour early. That's how we got in tonight. The first five or so people in the line were gifted free tickets by moviegoers who had extras.
