Info. on Novella Carpenter author of Farm City sent in by Sharon

Hi Everyone,

Here's a partial list of recent articles about Novella Carpenter and her Ghost Town Farm in Oakland. But the best place to get the story is on her blog (novellacarpenter.net).
Fortunately, she is now working with a lawyer, who has volunteered to help her navigate the morass of red tape around the attack on her urban farm.
Novella, who is grateful for our support, suggested the following ways to help: write letters to the local newspapers; write letters or call Jean Quan, the new mayor of Oakland; donate (if you can) through her web site (to help with the permit fee she must pay ($2500) as well as any fines that are levied against her.
Thanks so much,
Sharon
