The farm’s water catchment system is in operation. Jessie and John, both from Americorp, are the designers and builders. Congratulations to them for such a great project. Just needs to be painted and then turned over to farm staff.
The folks from Proof Lab are coming to the farm to specifically study the system as reported by Wendy.
Geography of Hope Conference is coming to Point Reyes. The term was coined by Wallace Stegner in 1960. As he wrote in The Sound of Mountain Water, "We simply need that wild country available to us, even if we never do more than drive to its edge and look in. For it can be…a part of the geography of hope," (Stegner, 1969, n.p. [online]).
The focus is on The Life of Water. March 18-21 are the dates. Further information:

Also, on Friday there will be an outing from the ridge to the ocean at Pt Reyes to look at water all along the way.
The Marin Master Gardners have finished their three weekend course on organic gardening. You can check out this event and other great resources at: http://ucanr.org/sites/MarinMG/
Now is the time to think about your final project. Remember, keep this project as a written one. Oral presentation slots are scarce. Check with Wendy or Henry if you still want to do one.
Upcoming speakers:
